wishlist 06

so, belated merry christmas. and advanced happy new year. hmm... it's pretty hard to greet when you're in between two holidays. after some mind-blowing soul searching, i reached the point that i finally realized what my ultimate wishes are this christmas. you guessed right - that this post would be about my wishlist this holiday season. actually, i only thought of writing two of the best. 1. neon genesis evangelion series. this anime has been my favorite since i watched it when i was in grade four. it really has a big impact on me for it influenced my drawing skills, as if i had one. also, it has a good concept of robots, the evangelions. these evas differ from the gundams i used to watch during that time. after watching the opening of this anime at youtube.com, i suddenly felt the urge to buy one. so i looked for at almost all of the 2rats store near our place; twice, i've been to rp metro east, once in shopwise-cubao, sta. lucia, and ali mall - four all in all. unfortunately, these four shops don't have a dvd of the series. but, but, but... when i reached comic alley at sta.lucia, i was able to buy the series, but in vcd format. enough to quench this almost seven years of thirsty craving for evangelion. (one of the wish come true.) 2. kc concepcion sony standee. she's one of ultimate crushes(hmmm... crushes?). i had loved her after seeing her on the newspapers and some tv programs on her debut. she was and is very lovely, right? what's not to love her? she sometimes write on super!,as she studies at france, she has a very beautiful face and body. everything, i should say. then i saw her very lovely standee when i was strolling at gateway. i was instantly interested on that standee which features her signature and also a great pose. now, i sound like a fanatic. however, this is the only wish which hasn't come true. ehem ehem. any kind generous people out there who could care to give me this last wish.

interpreter

i have seen the interpreter for the second time. my first was at robinson's metro east. it is really a good movie having nicole kidman as the leading actress. so i made another paragraph for some logical reason. now, this paragraph discusses my infatuation on oh-so-lovely nicole kidman (on the movie, the interpreter). first, her face looks young on the film, like she's not a thirtysomething actress. then, her blond hair with some bangs on really looks good on her. her figure is one of the best in hollywood. lastly, her voice is lovely. hmm... pathetic explanation.

dumating na rin ang ilang bagay na aking kinapapanabikan noong sabado. hindi ko sasabihin dahil isang sorpresa ito sa mga taong nakakikilala sa akin. ahaha. at noong linggo naman, nagawa kong magpagupit uli sa isang madaliang desisyon. siya nga pala, yung post na tinutukoy noong linggo ng madaling araw, yung cubao x, nangyari yun noong biyernes at hindi sabado. wala lang... isang lingo na lang at pasko na! yipee. ngayon pala pormal na nagsisimula ang aming christmas break. ehehe

nakatabi ko kanina ang dalawang kakilalang nakainom na ng ilang baso at bote, pero wala pa ring tama. samantalang ako, sa isang tasa ng kape at kaunting kain ng pagninilay, tinamaan na. masyado na akong nalunod sa alkohol ng kaiisip.

hamburger + coffee

i've been to our house just minutes ago. and yet, another tiring day. i was at the ateneo all the day (and some part of night) long. i attended the annual (like christmas is celebrated twice) pathways christmas party. there, several groups got to play games, give gifts and do presentations. i was lucky at that time coz i brought home a bag full of relief good-like necessities which ended up to be eaten right away. then by 6:00pm, i met finney and dane to watch middle finger po. this was a play presented by the tanghalang ateneo. it was my first time to see a play since the school year started. what can i say? it was good, specially the lightings. too many curses but how could you convey the meaning without those? middle finger is the new thumbs up. i really had a hard time getting a ride home. i thought that riding a calumpang jeep to marikina city town proper would ease my traveling; but, it wasn't able to. in fact, i made the matters worse because of the mardi gras, which i was able to guess due to a great number of gays walking around the vicinity, held at the sports center. since i was hungry, i had to look for a place serving coffee but i wasn't able to dine at mcdo because it was already closed by 11:00pm. luckily, tapa king was open. there i had my hamburger and coffee. yummy.

cubao x

i really feel like i'm so cool. finney and i bought the "limited edition" shirts from collision-theory. the shirts were launched yesterday at pablo - located at shoe expo, cubao. the guys from pablo even had organized a black-and-white christmas party. free food and drinks. plus, finney, benedict and i got to meet the two guys behind collision-theory - calliph8 and aj dimarucot. another plus, calliph8 played there to entertain the guests. some merchandises were also on sale. but what i really like about yesterday is that i saw the true blue cubao x avids.

a night reserved for my pj

today, we have a cold weather. i like this feeling that when i turn the fans on a cold day, i like to wear jacket or pj's. from what the weather reporter from cnn said, there's a storm in our country. damn. this coldness somehow makes me feel that christmas is fast approaching. for some weird reasons - which i really don't know- i'm very excited this christmas. and i was never this excited. however, this would be a somewhat lonely one. (hmm... why o why?) anyway, tomorrow's monday and i don't like my monday-thursday subjects, except P.E. i also don't like my prof on one of my subjects cause he's always late. he arrives 15-30 minutes late. we have a policy that we could leave if the prof hasn't arrived after 15 minutes. if we're going to strictly follow that rule, oh well, i haven't learn a thing from that subject. on the other hand, i have a prof who doesn't follow the same rule by making his own - late=cut. argghh... luckily, i was never late for his class. i really do like tiring myself for p.e. ahaha it's a good thing i'm taking up strength training 'coz i get to learn workouts on my tummy. ahaha

i'm not doing well this semester and i don't know why. it's like my mind's not on the right track. i'm trying to avoid my mistakes but i always commit them again. stupidity, i say. one of my concerns lately is whether i should transfer or not. i'm having a hard deciding. an i don't know if i would be given the opportunity to choose. and i wish i would have. oh... i borrowed finney's copy of light grenades for a week. after two times of listening to it, i now have my favorite songs. dig and diamonds and coal. also i get to pick a line which is really good, from diamonds and coal. "even diamonds start as coal"

it has been a week.

light grenade

recently, incubus launched their latest album entitled, light grenade. it features anna molly as their new single. this album is cheaper than the previous album, a crow left of the murder which is quite surprising. when i first saw their album, i really wanted to grab a copy but my wallet prohibited me. i only wish that i had the money so i could buy one. damn. don't worry coz the next time you see the same title, that means i already have one. btw, on this second day of our long weekend, i haven't done any worthy activity. i always thought that on this day, we're going to have classes. i just one to wear the red ribbon during world aids day. hahaha

bagyo

ngayon ang simula ng long weekend. isang araw na suspended dahil sa bagyo at isang araw na na-move na holiday. at dalawang normal na araw na nakalaan para magpahinga. at ngayong umaga, hindi ko pa rin alam kung anong mga dapat kong gawin. alam ko marami pero hindi ko maisip kung anu-ano yung mga bagay na 'yun. makulimlim na hindi katulad kahapon na maaraw. may kalamigan na at ang hangi'y mapresko rin. sabi nila, bukas pa raw darating ang bagyo dito sa metro manila. isang super typhoon daw. ang cool pakinggan kasi super. ibig sabihin talagang malakas 'to. bigla ko lang naalala na dalawang taon na ang nakalipas nang maranasan ng quezon ang hagupit ng isang kalmidad. sa aking pagkakatanda, noong disyembre nangyari 'yun. sobrang kakaiba ko talaga na kahit walang pasok, ganoong oras pa rin ako nagigising.
