sembreak, aww... we're close to breaking up

semestral break's almost up. i just reached our home after enrolling. oh my, what a disaster! i was done enrolling - assessment and payment - when i realized that i could change my schedule to a better one. (salamat kay jocas at pinaasa lang ako.) but after waiting for almost an hour on ms. adora's office, i wasn't able to change any subject and get a better schedule, which means no 7:30 am saturday class. anyway, i also would like thank mandy for enlisting my subjects. too bad, i asked her to enlist my subjects on a wrong schedule. i'm not blaming her, instead i have myself to blame. semestral break's almost up so i'm gonna share what happened after my last post. the day after we went to eastwood, i attended the last two days of pathways' sikolohiyang pilipino workshop. i really had fun attending the three-day (friday-sunday, october 20-22) workshop 'coz i got to know some secrets behind the philippine culture. there were some parts in the workshop that weren't included in my philippine society and culture class. tuesday, (october24) the week after, we held our "super inter-alma mater cup" at ayala heights. ateneo high school (junot's) team, marist (bl & elo's) team, northfield (miggy's) team and marikina science high school (arjay's team) participated in a league. too bad we lost to northfield and marist. but it's good that we've played against marist better than i have expected. we made it to "overtime" with a score of 38 all, coz the game's only up to 40 points. i know that marist is good, that the team won all their games, but why do they have to insist on getting the jackpot when most of the participating teams decided to cancel the price. after the game, we went to trinoma to eat. there, i got the chance to meet the girl ben's trying to court (or should i say courting?). and i again realized how small the world is. my childhood friend, who shared with her the same municipality in sorsogon, was also her friend. thursday and friday (october 26, 27), on the same week, i covered the events of pathways which was "educ8 2 liber8 college and scholarship fair and launch of www.schoogle.ph" at the music hall of mall of asia. pathetic me, it was my first time to go to moa. ua&p had a booth there, i just lost my souvenir from them. as for the highlights of the event other than the mini-workshops, colleges, universities, and scholarship granting bodies booths, they had small fashion show courtesy of penshoppe, a talk with bb.pilipinas universe 2007 anna theresa licaros, and rock ed concert featuring sound, stonefree, jeepney joyride and globe kantabataan finalist cozmik euphoria. i got a picture and an autograph for my sister with miro of stonefree. he was so humble and had no air in his head. i also enjoyed listening to sound, the band i've been wanting to watch them live. i really got pissed at jeepney joyride because they kept the whole crowd waiting for almost an hour just because their drummer wasn't around. out of my anger at them, i wasn't able to enjoy their fun music and to take pictures of them. monday, october 29. instead of voting and since we're not registered voters, we went to miggy's place to watch movies. too bad we started very late that we only got to see three movies. screw the first and bad movie, land of the dead. a really bad movie. then, we had sin city for the second. it was only then that i got to understand some of the side stories of the movie. hands down on the lighting and post-production. to end the so-called movie marathon, we watched zoolander. ahaha. i got to refresh the famous lines from the movie. tuesday, october 30. one of my best games. i really can't believe on how a played against my former schoolmates. ahaha. i just wished that my play that night would still retain. wednesday, october 31. i spent three hours on the computer shop nearest to house for online enlistment but i wasn't able to enlist any subject. thanks to mandy that i got to enlist most of my subjects. too bad there were few slots for the good subjects with good professors. thursday, november 1. we went to martha's house just to eat. i really liked felix's way of cooking shrimps and salmon. ros' sister, ciara, was there too but she talked only a little. i really thought we would get to know her on that merienda on martha's place. martha's niece is weird, in a good way or bad perhaps. she's very fond of crying for no reason at all. friday, november 2. supposedly my high school friends and i should be having a movie marathon but after going to eastwood with our pambahay/close-to-getting-asleep porma, i really had a bad night. before going to parking area, a mother of some fucked family made notice of what we were wearing while strolling around eastwood. she uttered with her head-to-foot stare "bakit ang daming naka-tsinelas dito ngayon?" what i'm really trying to say is why does she have to notice what we were wearing that night when we were not really there to party or anything that needs a proper attire? what's the difference of going to a mall on the afternoon wearing shorts and slippers and going to a mall on the evening with the same attire? hay... saturday, november 2. it was lorraine's debut at water nymph. hay, i'm too tired to write and i couldn't add anything. ahaha... i had a fun sembreak. with two days left, i still have a jampacked sembreak left.
